Coral Brocade with Navy Floral Lining

The Metro is a wonderful way to get around to major Washington DC attractions, and is my inspiration for this tote.  From the formal exterior embellished upholstery weight fabric, to the soft floral interior cotton lining, I designed this bag to reflect the vibe of the city. 

Plus, it’s useful!  It’s roomy enough to hold a purse, sweater, shoes, book, and lunch bag... perfect for those long Metro rides to work.  

But most importantly, I think they are so beautiful that I hope that they make you smile.

Features:
    -  three types of interfacing, 
         1) a stiff interfacing fused to the outer fabric to give the
             bag a crisp shape,
         2) a fleece interfacing fused to the inner lining for
             cushioning,
         3) a very stiff "timtex" material sewed in the base of the
        bag for structure and stability. 
    -  one interior pocket,
    -  an interior “handmade by julia” fabric label,
    -  gold color metal hardware, including four feet on the
        bottom.

 LARGE tote fabric choices:

Creme brocade with khaki floral lining.  

Silver and gold brocade with green floral lining. 

Brown, gold and burgundy with  khaki floral lining.   

SMALL tote fabric choices:

Green and  blue with green floral lining.

Pink and khaki with khaki/red floral lining. 

Silver with sky blue lining. 

Red with green and blue details, and red floral lining.
